AUTUMN CRAFT

Yesterday we were all ready for some fresh air and green pastures. So we headed to Sydney's Centennial Park, to revisit one of our favourite walks. But along the way we spotted a tree that had shed hundreds if not thousands of acorns. This was exciting news as we'd recently been reading Winnie the Pooh and The Honey Tree. Soon all the children had their pockets full and when we returned home we set about painting them. Pine cones too. They always seem to get that little bit extra excited when painting something that's not always considered paintable.
